Cawfields Quarry, Hadrian's Wall, Northumberland

This is a good example of multiple composition ideas. The foreground rocks on the left act as lead in lines to the quarry. So does the right hand one, this one also mirrors the top edge of the quarry and forms part of the lead in triangle. The reflection and the mist adds to the atmosphere and the pink sunrise although lasting all of five minutes was worth the longish drive and getting up early for.
